Last week, H and I went to Bucheon Homeplus early in the morning. After getting what we needed, we decided to eat at the foodcourt. We were the first customers of the day. Ordered the Jajangmyun and tangsuyuk set. Jajangmyeon is a Chinese-style Korean fried noodles with black bean sauce. Tangsuyuk is simply deep-fried pork strips in sweet and sour sauce. While waiting for the food, we also ordered some chicken, biscuits and coffee from KFC which they served right away.
In a Korean food court, you have to take line to a cashier/counter to order your food and pay. They will give you the receipt and a claim stub for every order. Then you will wait till your number is shown on a screen or monitor. When you see your number, you will proceed to that stall and claim your food. My food took forever. Well maybe about 25 minutes. Normally food from the food court are served really fast, but since we were customer no 1, we had to wait till they finish making the noodle (yes HANDMADE noodle!), preparing the sauce and everything. So after excruciating 25 minutes, I got my jajangmyeon. It was really great eating freshly made noodles. And I really like the sweet and sour sauce here.
Oh, and that brewed coffee from KFC is terrible!
